Legal age and responsible consumption
You may use CocktailScan only if you are of legal drinking age in your location. CocktailScan is an informational tool, not encouragement to consume alcohol. Drink responsibly, never drink and drive, and follow applicable laws.
Recipe and safety information
Recipes, substitutions, measurements, and preparation guidance are provided for general information. Ingredients, strengths, allergens, equipment, and results vary. Check product labels, use safe food-handling practices, and exercise your own judgment. We do not guarantee that every recipe or substitution is complete, suitable, or error-free.
Your submissions
You must have the right to send us any recipe, correction, image, or other material you submit. You retain ownership of your original material. By submitting it for inclusion, you grant CocktailScan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, adapt, reproduce, and display it in connection with CocktailScan. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Intellectual property
The CocktailScan name, branding, app, site, design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party recipe names, publications, brands, and other material remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-party services
CocktailScan may link to or interact with app stores, sharing destinations, email providers, or external websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or availability. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date here.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, CocktailScan is provided “as is” and without warranties. CocktailScan and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss resulting from use of the app, website, recipes, or substitutions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
