Learn to browse components and follow the connected reference details in CocktailScan.
Browse components
Components are ingredients made from other ingredients, such as Simple Syrup, made from sugar and water.
Choose Components from the Library menu. Search or browse syrups, mixes, and other preparations, then tap a component to open its recipe.
Read a component recipe
The Simple Syrup recipe includes ingredient quantities, preparation instructions, and storage information.
Personal notes are available in Premium. Tap an ingredient to open its reference details or the back arrow to return.
Follow the ingredient connection
Tapping White Sugar in the Simple Syrup recipe opens its ingredient details: uses, type, subtype, alcohol content, intensity, common roles, and flavor.
You can follow drink recipe → component recipe → ingredient details, then retrace your steps with the back arrow.
